Jessica Rost, FNP-C Joins Rolette Clinic as Primary Care Provider

Northland Health Centers is excited to announce that Jessica Rost, FNP-C, has joined the Rolette Health Center as a family nurse practitioner providing primary care for patients of all ages, from infants to older adults. Rost is licensed by the North Dakota Board of Nursing and is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board. She earned both her Master of Science in Nursing and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Dakota.

She treats a wide range of conditions and works to help patients get the services they need, including connecting them with specialists when appropriate. Rost said she is proud to provide family care close to home for the Rolette community.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, cooking, painting, and continuing to learn about medicine and health care.

Health Center now offers in-person comprehensive care.

“For the first time, our Rolette Health Center is fully staffed with dental, primary care and behavioral health services, and we’re thrilled to bring that full team to the community,” said Melissa McClintock, Chief Clinical and Operations Officer at Northland Health Centers. “It’s a great feeling to offer more care close to home and make it easier for patients and families to get the support they need by offering comprehensive care.”

Rost has practiced as a nurse practitioner since 2022 and began her health care career in 2009. McClintock said her experience across multiple areas of care has helped her develop a broad clinical perspective. “Rost takes a patient-centered, collaborative approach, recognizing that each person’s needs are different and that quality care often involves a team,” said McClintock.

By adding a full-time primary care provider to the clinic, patients will now be able to see a comprehensive team regardless of the ability to pay. Other services at the clinic include dental care, psychiatric medication management, and virtual licensed addiction counseling.

Northland Health Centers offers a program called Northland Cares that helps families and individuals pay for services based on family size and annual income. Applicants may qualify with or without insurance and may qualify even though the applicant has Medicare or Medicaid.
