Katie is a Licensed Addiction Counselor with a strong background in supporting individuals through substance use recovery and trauma. She holds a Bachelor's degree from St. Cloud State University and is currently pursuing her Master's in Community Mental Health at the University of North Dakota. With four years of experience working with clients impacted by substance use, domestic violence, and sexual assault, Katie brings a compassionate, client-centered approach to therapy. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients build resilience, gain insight, and work toward lasting change. She is committed to providing culturally responsive care and values multicultural competency as a foundation for respectful, inclusive, and effective support. Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with her son and dog, going to the lake, riding ATVs, and getting lost in a good book.
