Melissa McClintock, MSN, FNP-C, serves as Medical Director and Family Nurse Practitioner at Northland Health Centers. She is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and holds certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and is a DOT Examiner. Melissa earned an Associate Degree of Applied Science in Surgical Technology, an Associate Degree in Nursing, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has over 20 years of experience working in healthcare. Melissa provides care to patients across the lifespan, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations, with a strong passion for serving rural, underprivileged, and underserved communities. She commonly treats acute and chronic medical conditions, urgent care and emergency concerns, women’s health needs, injuries, and preventive health issues. Her clinical background includes urgent care, emergency medicine, family practice, cardiology, infusion therapy, surgery, and DOT physical examinations. Her approach to care is patient-centered and whole-person, grounded in collaboration, compassion, and evidence-based medicine. She values patient education and shared decision-making to empower patients to take an active role in their healthcare. Outside of work, Melissa enjoys traveling and exploring new places, spending time with family, walking her dogs, staying active, and balancing a busy clinical career with personal wellness and time outdoors.
