Northland Health Centers is proud to announce that Tasha Leier, FNP-C, has officially become a certified Medical Examiner on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s (FMCSA) National Registry of providers. “Becoming a certified Medical Examiner is an important step in supporting the health and safety of our commercial drivers,” Leier said. “I’m proud to offer this service locally and help ensure that drivers meet the federal standards required to stay on the road.”
This prestigious certification recognizes Tasha’s successful completion of the FMCSA’s rigorous training and testing requirements, which focus on federal physical qualifications and standards for commercial motor vehicle drivers. With this achievement, Tasha is now fully credentialed to perform physical qualification examinations for truck and bus drivers, helping ensure the safety and well-being of those operating on our nation’s roads.
This accreditation also allows Northland Health Centers to strengthen its occupational health services and expand access to care for commercial vehicle drivers in Minot and the surrounding communities. “Tasha’s certification enhances our ability to serve the transportation workforce close to home,” Melissa McClintock, Northland Health Centers Medical Director, said. “It reflects our commitment to expanding access and delivering high-quality care where it’s needed most.” By offering certified DOT physicals locally, Northland is helping meet a critical need for timely, professional exams that support both driver health and regulatory compliance.
The cost of the exam is $115. To schedule a physical with Tasha Leier, FNP-C, please call the Northland Health Centers Minot Medical Clinic at 701.852.4600. Appointments can be booked in advance, and same-day availability may be offered upon request.
